MEET CHEF PLEMMONS

Meet Chef Christopher H. Plemmons, a culinary maestro with over 35 years of experience serving up deliciousness! As a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) and a proud member of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), Chef Plemmons brings a wealth of expertise to the table. He’s not one to rest on his laurels though; he stays ahead of the culinary curve by diving into ongoing education programs offered by the American Culinary Federation.

But Chef Plemmons isn’t just about honing his craft in the kitchen; he’s all about giving back to the community too! From cooking up a storm at farmers’ markets to lending his skills to charity events, hosting harvest meals, and even getting in on the action as a judge at regional food competitions, Chef Plemmons is a true culinary champion.

His dedication doesn’t stop there; he’s also served on various boards including the Bremerton Foodline and the Kitsap County Food and Farm Policy Committee. And let’s not forget his involvement in Michelle Obama’s “Chefs Move to Schools” program back in 2010 – talk about making a difference!

Chef Plemmons’ passion for culinary excellence extends beyond the kitchen walls; he’s been an active member of the Washington State Chefs Association, holding various leadership roles and earning accolades like the chapter Chef of the Year in 1993. He’s even dabbled in writing, co-authoring cookbooks that showcase his creative flair.

After retiring from his teaching position in 2023, Chef Plemmons is gearing up for his next adventure – starting his own cooking class business, Culinary Creations, in Cle Elum, WA. With Chef Plemmons at the helm, you can bet it’ll be a delicious journey filled with flavor, fun, and plenty of culinary inspiration!
